Who We Are
Established in 1997 under the name Ad-Diwan, Inc. and later Sisters One, Inc., Chaplain Corner has provided the Metropolitan D.C. region with contemporary modest clothing which met the aesthetic and cultural needs of new generation Muslims living in the Metropolitan D.C. area. As we have grown from a brick and motor store to an online platform, we hope to attract a larger clientele base across the globe. Chaplain Corner is now proud to provide our inventory to an international audience who follow the Islamic ethical or religious practices.
Sisters One, Inc. has also been the Prime Vendor for Muslim ecclesiastical supplies for the Department of Defense (DoD). We have held an outstanding past performance rating for over 16 years in providing Islamic materials to our servicemen and servicewomen in the Armed Forces. We are a one stop shop for all Islamic items for Muslim and Non-Muslim Chaplains in the Armed Forces and beyond.
We were honored to be asked by the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado to design and build a fully operational Muslim Chapel as well as provide Prayer Rugs, Prayer Niche & Bookstand, Minbar (Podium), Quranic Calligraphy, Quran Holders and Privacy Screens.
The U.S. Air Force Academy provides Muslim cadets the opportunity to worship as well as receive religious education and spiritual support. Cadets are able to participate in daily prayers, religious education and Friday worship services.
